ypVideo 360 Preparation
Schedule Your Photo Shoot
Once your ypVideo 360 order is placed, you will receive a call from your assigned photographer so the two of you can select a convenient date and time for your ypVideo 360 Virtual Tour photo shoot. If you're not able to connect with the photographer when they first call you, here are your options for scheduling your shoot:
Best Option: Call/email the photographer back directly so that you two can coordinate your schedules.
Other Option: Call 877-450-2040 or email the ypVideo 360 Support Team and provide them with a few options of dates/times that will work for you. The ypVideo 360 Support team will then pass this information along to your assigned photographer who will either confirm with you if those dates/times work or will reach out to you again to select a different time if the photographer is not available.
Cancellation policyIf you need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled photo shoot, please call 877-450-2040 or email ypVideo 360 Support at least 48 hours before the time of the photography session.
Before your Photo shoot
Become Comfortable with the Product
Get ideas for your own ypVideo 360 by viewing examples of what other businesses have chosen to highlight in their ypVideo 360.
Have a general idea of the locations or rooms within your business you want depicted. The photographers will be able to offer suggestions if you're having trouble with a decision.
Because we are shooting a 360 degree panorama, EVERYTHING in a given space will be seen. Spend some time arranging and tidying up your business to look its best.
People in shots
Having your staff pose for the panorama is a good way to add personality to the ypVideo 360. Also decide if you want customers in the photo shoot. If you do want people to be recognizable in your shot please prepare Appearance Release Forms.
Our photographers are prohibited from taking photos without a signed Location Release Form. Please ensure you complete the form prior to the shoot date. The photographer will also have copies.
Day of Photo Shoot
No additional lighting will be brought in for the photo shoot so we suggest turning on all available lights or opening curtains to allow as much light into the space as possible. Having enough sources of light prevents the final pictures from looking too dark.
Spend 5-10 minutes walking through your business and telling the photographer which locations you want shot.
Provide them a name for each shot location. These names will appear on the ypVideo 360.
Improve the Finished Product
Your ypVideo 360 can be augmented with still images or YP approved videos that can be embedded directly within your ypVideo 360 virtual tour. You will receive an email with detailed instructions on how to submit these Interactive Elements to EveryScape.

Finally, you can also improve your ypVideo 360 by sending short text blocks that we can incorporate throughout the tour; these will appear as text (not voiceover) helping to narrate what a user is seeing when they watch your Virtual Tour (think subtitles).
Review and Start Using Your ypVideo 360
We will notify you via email that your ypVideo 360 is ready to preview within 3 days after the shoot. The email will include a Preview Link that will enable you to watch your ypVideo 360 online and either approve it to get posted to your profile listing, or request us to make changes. If you request changes, you can expect to see a revised version of your ypVideo 360 with your edits incorporated within 2 days. You can request changes simply by replying to the email with the Preview Link or calling the ypVideo 360 Hotline at 877-450-2040.
Once your ypVideo 360 is approved, we'll immediately deliver it to YP. It will go live on your listing once your contract goes live.
Once your tour has been approved, we will email you simple instructions on how to embed and share your ypVideo 360. As a reminder, your ypVideo 360 can be embedded on your personal website, linked to your email signature, or shared through Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and many other social media platforms.
If you have a YP website or landing page, your tour should automatically be embedded within a few days of approval. ypVideo 360 not only increases your brand and customer awareness - but It is also a great way to make all your content more dynamic and drive leads through your social media campaigns.
What are Interactive Elements?
Interactive Elements provide an exciting way for prospective customers to learn about your business. With one click on an interactive element they can learn more about your offerings, get discounts, see videos, and much more.
Here are some ideas for what to include as Interactive Elements:
- Menu or listing of offerings
- Event flyers
- Images of Products, Staff, Events
- Your YP.com video
- Testimonials from customers
Types of Interactive Elements
There are two types of media for Interactive Elements: Videos and Images. Your YP.com video or any JPG image can be an Interactive Element.
We suggest submitting photos that are:
- Min: 400 Χ 400
- Max: 2880 Χ 2880
- 72 ppi
You can either email your photos directly to us or alternately send us a link to your image on flickr. You should receive an email with step-by-step instructions on how to send us your images.
Your YP.com video can be used as an Interactive Element. We would suggest using videos that are under 60 seconds, so users get the best tour experience. You should receive an email with step-by-step instructions to instruct us to include your YP.com video.
In order to submit a still image and have us include that still image in your ypVideo 360, you'll need to sign the Content Release Form.
Background Music Selection
Below are the five music choices available for your ypVideo 360. Please listen to the selections and let your YP Representitive know your preference, or simply reply to any of the emails we have sent you regarding your ypVideo 360 and we will add it to your virtual tour.
If no selection is made we will default to the Pop selection, but it can be changed at any time.
